As most of the mother-in-law's recipes are good and so would be this one, too! The slice was crumbly with a rich buttery, nutty taste. It would be nice to share this with your mother or mother-in-law this Mother's Day for a special treat.
Have a Happy Mother's Day!

I'm excited too that the Australian Masterchef is back!
ReplyDeleteNow, I know why this slice is named as the bus driver's MIL slice. This name sounds so cute!
How cool! i love a good story that goes along with a great recipe!
ReplyDeleteLove the name of your recipe! lol..looks easy to make and they do look very tempting. I love to watch the Jr Master Chef more than the Australian Master Chef. The kids at that age and able to whip up a dish professionally, put me to shame..haahaha.
ReplyDeleteI have been making this slice for years. It is from a Women’s Weekly cookbook called “Quick – Mix Biscuits and Slices”.
ReplyDeleteI made this yesterday and have brought it to work today for colleagues. It is delicious!
